The LSA-Plus overvoltage protection is used in particular with multiwire conductor systems, such as those found for example in measuring, controlling and regulating technology and in telephone switching equipment. Ten double-core systems (DA) can be protected with just one overvoltage (basic protection) magazine LSA-B-MAG.
For the protection of two conductors - the modules LSA-BF are used. The basic and fine protection devices of Type LSA-BF (180 V version) are provided for use in switching equipment of analog and ISDN telephone networks.
OBO basic and fine protection devices LSA-BF-24 (24 V version) are used in particular in data and MSR technology.
The protective circuit of the LSA-Plus devices consists of powerful 3-pole overvoltage protection arrester. Basic and fine protection are based on fail-safe technology, which ensures that the overvoltage protector is bridged for thermal overload and therefore protected.
